Yes. I use self-checkouts. I also use a bank and credit union and am even the treasurer for several nonprofit organizations. My banking is 95% at the ATM. At the post office, I use the lobby machine for all big envelope and stamp purchases.
No. I don’t have a protractor, compass, calculator, or slide rule. I have always used cars and never a horse or buggy to go into town for supplies or to post a letter with the Wells Fargo Express. I no longer have milk delivered to my porch or the dry cleaner stop by to pick up my shirts. I pump by own gas.
I live in 2023. My car was 80% built by robots. I order groceries online and drive to the store to pick them up or sometimes have them delivered.

Ha. If you scroll through the blog you can see just how intermittent I post things. It takes a certain passion about something on my mind. It’s like writing one of those emails that you are wise enough not to actually send. It lets me vent and, if no one reads it, that is fine with me.
